About the Author

In 1997, after a successful career as a Registered Nurse, Marilyn-Ann Elphick experienced a call to a different vocation. She began her studies at the University of St. Michael's College Faculty of Theology. She graduated with a Master's of Divinity degree in 2002. In 2013, she graduated with an advanced degree in Theology (Th.M). After retiring in 2015, she accepted a position as a chaplain in West Park Long Term Care in 2017. The following year, she began work at Lakeside Long Term Care as a chaplain. At the present time she provides spiritual care to the residents. She resides in Fergus, Ontario and is active with the Victoria Park Senior's Club Creative Writers Group. She has published several online articles. Her hobbies include writing, travel, baking, cooking and trying different kinds of tea from around the world.
